Orange shirt day paint set
all sales in September will be donated to the Ojibwe Cultural Foundation who protect our culture and history. #orangeshirtday is just around the corner and as a relatively new day, it was established to bring awareness about Canadian Residential schools like the one my Dad was sent to, and has since grown to include genera awareness about indigenous issues and the #truthandreconciliation commission and their calls to action.
We are making little paper tshirts with Fabriano watercolor paper. Two paper shirts with samples of four colours, orange, yellow, red, and gold, also known as eagle colours in our culture. Paint your own and post it up, mail it or share your own artwork!
Contains 2 paper “shirts’ Palm size cards and one 4 colour sample strip of watercolor in glassine envelope
